BEST.TURKEY.EVER. I gathered information about how Martha Stewart did Turkeys so we followed it. It took a bit to find cheesecloth and Beau had to baste the turkey every 30 minutes from 6 am til almost 1 or 2pm but lord almighty it was worth it!!

Axel has been having problems with all the dogs. We finally narrowed it down to a severe case of food aggression towards the other girls. We started feeding the girls a smaller amount of food per day and then in separate rooms.

Axel would get a cup & half and then put outside. Before, he would eat an entire large food bowl that was to feed all four of them...probably about 5 cups or so. Now, he isn't finishing the cup and half. Probably because there is nobody he has to compete with, the food is all his and he doesn't have to rush.

Axel has turned into a completely different dog. His aggression has ceased to be. And I am really glad because I didn't want to give up on him like everybody else has.
